The Centennial Albert United Church was a wonderful venue for this fibre art show. The show was a spectacular display of works from very talented artists. The techniques were varied and used many types of fibres: paper mache, wire, wood, embroidery, machine stitching, thread painting, silk fibres, hand dyed cottons and wools, copper and many more. These works were so inspiring.
A visit to the Soper Creek Yarn shop in Bowmanville was part of the excursion and I believe all of us brought home a little something from that store.
It was another great day!
