As many people have done during COVID, I did some clean up and reorganizing, and found a little kit for a ladybug worked in needlepoint. It had been started, but just barely; I think it was probably a gift to my then 8 year old daughter who had learned to knit, crochet and do cross stitch at school. I suppose that needlepoint wasn’t her thing!
Nor was it my thing, never having done it before. So I started, of course without reading the directions clearly… and learned a few things along the way.
Not a work of art, not without errors, but a young friend who loves ladybugs will appreciate it when it arrives in the mail this week.
