This is my first attempt at Architectural Embroidery – This piece was inspired by a pre-Soviet home in Latvia.
It represents to me the neglect of all the beautifully embellished buildings in the country during the Soviet occupation.
I used a combination of embroidery and watercolour paint to create the image.
