Since 2015 our members have enjoyed our Annual Christmas Luncheon at Kelsey’s Restaurant. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, this was not possible this year. Zoom has become a very popular way for various groups to meet and we have been holding our General Meetings in this way. So, instead of foregoing our annual Christmas event, we met via Zoom. Definitely not the same as meeting in person, but we got to catch up with each other and have a few laughs. We look forward to meeting in person for Christmas 2021.
For the past few years, one of our members has given each member a Christmas Card with a little chocolate treat. This year the cards were mailed but included an I.O.U. (pictured to the right) for the chocolate treat. Bet the members can’t wait to get two treats next year.
At our Annual Christmas Luncheons we normally have a Christmas Ornament Exchange. It was decided that we would have a “virtual” ornament exchange instead (a gift to ourselves perhaps) and below are pictures of ornaments made by our participating members.
