Fibre Arts Festival and Sale 2019

The 9th Annual Fibre Arts Festival and Sale was held on March 16th at the Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre. Another very successful event for the organizers with 1080 visitors in attendance.

This year’s festival offered approximately 50 booths with local artists offering items made by spinning, beautiful yarns for knitting and weaving, books, patterns, kits, and of course, artisan quality gift items. There were many demonstrations and a make and take area. This sale was the perfect opportunity to stock up on fibre, yarn and related fibre supplies.

Our guild was one of the participants and the visitors – as well as buying some of our items that we had for sale – showed much interest in our work.
