Members were asked to use one of the following three photos to create a postcard.
Wenda – My interpretation of Fiona’s postcard challenge. Loved the red so I used three different fabrics, one was reversed and held together with a running stitch. The half moon shape on the bottom was to represent the base of the candlestick holder, again using a form of straight stitch with a little glitz. The button is an old one from my mother-in-law…..eat your heart out Linda???
Suz – I used water colour pencils and water colour crayons to create the shapes and background, then added embroidery to enhance the glasses and the pumpkin. I changed the perspective of the items and added fall colours to my pumpkin.
